CampusSports.net recently caught up with the man, the myth, the sporting legend Uncle Rico of hit film "Napoleon Dynamite."

The man with the strongest arm the sport of football has ever seen- after all, he could throw a ball over the mountains and would have led his team to a state title if his coach played him in the fourth quarter- decided to challenge a few of the current top quarterbacks in the nation to a skills competition.

Uncle Rico said,"Bet you ten thousand American pesos that you can not throw it as far as I can" 'No deflated balls here" "Uncle Rico could show Peyton Manning a few things" Kurt Warner and Matt Linart said "Uncle Rico has one of the greatest arms in football." "I used to be able to throw a pigskin a quarter mile," said Uncle Rico

Uncle Rico challenged Seattle Seahawks Russell Wilson, USC's Cody Kessler, and Hawaii's Max Wittek.

CampusSports.net interviews the talented Jon Gries known as "Uncle Rico" of movie Napoleon Dynamite. One of the greatest character actors of all time performing in Seinfield, 90210, and the hit movies Taken. Jon Gries has performed in over a 130 character roles.

Jon Gries was going to quit acting and focus on writing.  Jon had finished a movie "The Big Empty" with Jon Favreau, Daryl Hannah, and Kelsey Grammer, were using the same editing room to cast Napoleon Dynamite. He was offered the job as Uncle Rico.
